Urgent Appointment

A number of appointments can be booked on the day by ringing 0121 422 2146 after 8am.

At very busy times we may be unable to offer you an appointment the same day, however, should it be an emergency you will be put onto the triage list.  A GP or ANP will call you and determine whether you need an emergency appointment, face to face appointment, need an appointment later in the week, need advice or need a prescription.

Routine Appointment

Routine appointments may be booked up to 3 weeks ahead for mornings and evenings with a doctor or advanced nurse practitioner, where available.

  • Use NHS Online Services or the NHS App
  • Phone us Monday to Friday on 0121 422 2146 from 8am
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist. We are open Monday to Friday from 8am

Please note appointments are booked for 10 minutes. If you have complex problems or multiple problems, you may be asked to book another appointment.  please note we cannot see accompanying family members in this time allocation: they need to book a separate appointment.  Appointments for procedures such as injections are for the procedure alone and the clinician will not be able to discuss other problems in the allocated time.

Telephone Advice

If you feel it necessary to speak to a GP or Nurse during the working day please call reception between 8.30am and 10.30am whenever possible. For non urgent calls - the receptionist will advise you to either call back at the end of surgery, or a GP or nurse will call you.
