City Hospital

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:50pm

Fasting blood tests means nothing to eat for 12 hours prior to the test.  Nothing to drink except tap water.  Medication can be taken with tap water unless otherwise specified.  Do not chew gum or eat sweets.

Blood Test Results - Please select the results line on our telephone system active between Tuesday - Friday between 2pm and 6pm, one week after having your blood test.

Please note that if your results are normal, we will not contact you.

The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate, unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
